The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a workshop on June 26 for staff in the investment, finance and risk management areas of Banco Angolano de Desenvolvimento, focused on the capital market as an investment alternative. The session forms part of the commission’s awareness and training initiatives to support financial literacy, strengthen a savings culture and broaden understanding of how Angola’s domestic capital market works. The workshop covered the commission’s role as capital markets regulator and supervisor, the main financial instruments available for investment, different investor risk profiles, and the key considerations for making informed investment decisions. It also included a question-and-answer segment on the regulation, supervision and development of Angola’s capital market.
