The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a workshop for employees of the Agricultural Development Support Fund on the structure and operation of Angola’s capital market. The training covered the commission’s regulatory and supervisory role, available financial instruments, investor risk profiles and factors supporting informed investment decisions. The workshop also addressed collective investment undertakings, including their classification, establishment, licensing, supervision, participants, risks, benefits, regulatory framework and tax treatment. Participants received an overview of the capital market’s broader regulatory foundations and the commission’s rulemaking powers.
