The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported that Governor Jasmina Selimovic met in Sarajevo with the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, Anca Dragu, and the Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, Trajko Slaveski, to discuss strengthening cooperation and developing joint initiatives across financial stability, digitalisation and financial literacy. Discussions focused on ongoing regional and European projects, including Bosnia and Herzegovina’s activities related to integration into the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), as well as exchanging experience on implementing modern payment systems and instruments aimed at improving financial market efficiency. The participants highlighted scope for further knowledge-sharing and cooperation, particularly in moving closer to European standards and promoting financial inclusion, in the context of the annual meeting of a regional technical assistance project on financial education organised with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
