The Bank of the Lao reported that a Deputy Governor hosted a courtesy visit from a delegation of the International Bank for Economic Cooperation (IBEC), led by Management Board Chairman Denis Ivavnov and accompanied by representatives of the Russian Embassy in Laos, focused on strengthening cooperation between the two institutions. The visit was used to introduce IBEC and provide an overview of its situation, followed by discussions and an exchange of views on potential areas for expanded Bank of the Lao–IBEC cooperation. The Deputy Governor welcomed the engagement and expressed openness to deepening collaboration going forward.
