Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority has granted establishment, licensing and registration approvals covering seven companies across capital markets and nonbank finance. The decisions include capital market licenses, preliminary approval for Fawry Consumer Finance to add factoring to its activities, and a debt collection registration that brings the number of registered collection companies to 12. In capital markets, Sheria for Securities Promotion and Underwriting received approval to establish a company for those activities. E Finance Holding for Financial Services and Olive Egypt Holding received licenses to participate in establishing companies that issue securities or increasing their capital. Golden Way for Securities and Bonds Trading was licensed to conduct bond dealing and brokerage, while Business Community for Financial Investments received licenses to establish and manage securities portfolios and investment funds. Fawry’s factoring approval is preliminary. The company must amend its articles of association, adjust its name to reflect the additional activity and submit the documents required to obtain an operating license. Separately, Simple for Solutions and Financial Technology was added to the register of companies collecting amounts owed to nonbank financing companies and entities. Its registration raises the total to 12 since the issuance of the authority’s 2025 decision governing the register.
