The Financial Markets Standards Board has announced that Morgan Stanley Investment Management has joined as a Full Member, expanding the standards body's membership among asset managers and owners. The move gives Morgan Stanley Investment Management a formal role in FMSB's industry-led work on standards and good practice for wholesale financial markets. Morgan Stanley Investment Management is set to contribute through FMSB's Standards Board, committees and working groups, as well as its newly established Asset Manager and Owner forum. FMSB said the firm's addition strengthens the growing buy-side cohort within its membership, while Morgan Stanley Investment Management said it would bring a practical buy-side perspective to the development of standards and guidance.
