The stored value facility (SVF) licensee reported the case to the HKMA. The fraudulent website identified at the time of the alert is hxxps[:]//alipay0189hk[.]com. The HKMA advised anyone who provided personal information or account credentials, or conducted financial transactions, via or in response to the website to contact the relevant SVF licensee and report the matter to the Police or the Anti-Deception Coordination Centre at 18222.
