The Central Bank of Russia approved 12 systemically important credit institutions under its 2021 methodology: UniCredit Bank, Gazprombank, Sovcombank, VTB Bank, Alfa-Bank, Sberbank, Credit Bank of Moscow, Bank DOM.RF, TBank, Promsvyazbank, Raiffeisenbank and Rosselkhozbank, which together account for around 80% of the Russian banking sector’s total assets.
