The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) has launched an interactive Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) data dashboard that publicly discloses complaints data at individual financial firm level, enabling users to compare complaints volumes, handling and outcomes across firms and products. The dashboard provides views of complaints volumes and trends across reporting periods, breakdowns by issue and complaint outcome, firm-level complaints resolution times, and information on monetary remedies paid, alongside guidance on navigation, definitions and methodology. The release is positioned as complementing the Australian Financial Complaints Authority’s external dispute resolution reporting to give a more complete picture of the dispute resolution framework, and follows ASIC’s consultation in April and May 2025 on its approach to publishing reportable situations and IDR data, which informed its final approach after 47 submissions to CP 383.
