Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) President Roberto E. Silva closed the II Professional Accounting and Auditing Day organised by the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CPCECABA), delivering an overview of CNV regulatory updates and the work carried out since the start of the current administration. He pointed to nearly 100 rules adopted by the CNV board aimed at fostering the development of Argentina’s capital markets. Silva framed the agenda as a modernisation of the regulatory framework aligned with leading international standards to support an agile, transparent and accessible market, and cited initiatives such as tokenisation, the regulation of PSAVs and the Automatic Public Offering regime as examples of “pioneering” and “innovative” regulation. The session was moderated by CPCECABA President Gustavo Diez and attended by CPCECABA First Vice President Patricia Lange; other panels at the event covered topics including the RIGI regime, anti-money laundering and the use of artificial intelligence in auditing.
