The Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency reported that 26 employees planted 1,200 native mahogany seedlings in Loma Caribe, Monseñor Nouel, as part of its social responsibility program. The initiative targeted land damaged by a recent illegal burn and designated as an environmental emergency area. The reforestation was coordinated with the provincial Environment Department. Forest firefighters and the Plan Yuna II Brigade prepared the site before planting.
