The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market reported that Commission member Arsen Ilyin participated in the Second Foreign Investment Congress on 15 May 2025, where discussions focused on capital market instruments already operating in Ukraine and the outlook for introducing new solutions. The Congress covered Ukraine’s economic transformation, including agro-industrial development, energy security, financial innovation and digital investment solutions. Examples highlighted included scoring-based microfinance and Activitis, described as among the first fintech structures to complete a public securities issue with NSSMC support using a digital model to collect and distribute investments, as well as agrarian notes as a tool for faster seasonal financing for agricultural producers. The agenda also included ESG bonds as a potential financing channel for processing, waste-free production and the sustainable economy, and work on mechanisms to support agricultural commodity trading so smaller producers can form fair prices and obtain payment guarantees.
