The Securities and Exchange Commission Ghana issued a directive requiring all directors and principal officers of CMOs to complete and submit an electronic Directors Personal Note (e-DPN) via its Regulatory Compliance Portal by 30 April 2025. The directive takes immediate effect. The SEC stated that the filing requirement is intended to keep its database on directors and principal officers of CMOs up to date for regulatory purposes. Breaches may attract action under section 209(4) of the Securities Industry Act 2016 (Act 929) as amended, and the SEC may revise, amend, vary or revoke the directive while reserving final authority to interpret its provisions.
