The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic announced that metallic coins in the DOP 1.00 denomination dated 2025 will enter circulation starting 24 April 2026. The coins will have the same characteristics as the DOP 1.00 coins currently in circulation, with the only change being the year of minting, and will remain legal tender for the payment of all public and private obligations.

The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic announced that metallic coins in the DOP 1.00 denomination dated 2025 will enter circulation starting 24 April 2026. The new coins will have the same characteristics as existing DOP 1.00 coins, with only the minting year changed, and will remain legal tender for all public and private payments.
