Kenya’s National Treasury, represented by Principal Secretary Dr. Chris Kiptoo, joined regional ministers and dignitaries at the opening ceremony of the 25th Eastern and Southern Africa Anti-Money Laundering Group Council of Ministers Meeting in Addis Ababa, where the Council’s role in providing strategic leadership on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing and alignment with Financial Action Task Force standards was highlighted, and the ceremony was opened by Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh.
