The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has proposed extending the self-repeal dates of eight legislative instruments due to expire in 2027, with no other changes. ASIC assessed the instruments as operating effectively and efficiently and as remaining necessary parts of the legislative framework. The instruments cover conditional relief and requirements across futures markets, authorized representatives, family violence-related transaction disclosures, retail over-the-counter derivatives, superannuation and product disclosure, Financial Services Guides and employee share schemes. The consultation closes at 5 p.m. AEST on Sept. 8, 2026.
