The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has appointed Jane Magill as Executive Director, Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance and Superannuation (LPHIS), replacing Carmen Beverley-Smith, and named Peter Diamond as acting Executive Director, General Insurance and Banking (GIB) while it recruits for the permanent role. Magill’s appointment takes effect from 16 February. From the same date, Diamond, currently General Manager Banking, will act as Executive Director GIB, and Peter Kohlhagen will continue acting in the Executive Director LPHIS role until Magill commences.
