The Hong Kong Monetary Authority alerted the public to bank notices concerning fraudulent websites, fake internet banking login screens, phishing emails and other scams, reminding customers that banks do not use embedded links to request transactions or seek login passwords or one-time passwords by phone, email or SMS and advising anyone affected to contact the relevant bank and report the matter to the Hong Kong Police Force.
