The National Bank of Ukraine has confirmed the systemic importance status of 16 banks following its annual review of bank performance indicators under established criteria. All institutions that were on the 2025 list remain designated, and the list will be used for banking supervision purposes. The unchanged roster comprises A-BANK JSC, Idea Bank JSC, CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK JSC, KREDOBANK JSC, OTP BANK JSC, Oschadbank JSC, Pivdеnnyi JSB and CB PrivatBank JSC. It also includes FUIB JSC, Raiffeisen Bank JSC, SENSE BANK JSC, TASCOMBANK JSC, UKRGASBANK JSB, Ukreximbank JSC, UKRSIBBANK JSC and UNIVERSAL BANK JSC. The designation was approved by NBU Board Decision No. 178 dated 11 June 2026. The annual identification process is based on data as of 1 January and is conducted under the National Bank of Ukraine's regulation on identifying systemically important banks.

The National Bank of Ukraine has kept 16 banks on its list of systemically important institutions after its annual review, with no changes from 2025. The designation will be used for banking supervision, and the assessment was based on data as of 1 January.
