The Reserve Bank of Australia has appointed Craig O’Hagan as its Head of Audit, with a start date in May. The Audit Department provides independent assurance on the effectiveness of the RBA’s governance, risk management and internal controls. O’Hagan brings more than 28 years of experience as a senior internal audit partner and joins from KPMG, where he served as a Governance, Risk and Compliance Partner and National Internal Audit Lead Partner. His background spans internal audit, governance, risk and assurance services across public and private sectors in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia.
