The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority PREVIC published guidance on its systems migration, under which the current Register of Entities and Plans will be replaced in January by a new CADPREVIC platform that also incorporates the National Register of Directors. The change separates consultation and registry functions in CADPREVIC from the submission and receipt of licensing applications, which will move to the federal gov.br portal. The new CADPREVIC environment is scheduled to be available on 5 January 2026, when new licensing requests can start being filed via gov.br. PREVIC indicated that, where there is no urgency, closed pension funds (EFPC) can wait until after 15 January 2026, when it will hold a further videoconference to explain the new process. The first four application types planned for migration to gov.br are the implementation of a benefits plan, amendments to plan regulations, approval of an adhesion agreement, and amendments to an adhesion agreement. PREVIC encouraged each EFPC to link its CNPJ to its gov.br account and pre-register the individuals authorised to submit requests. Applications initiated in the current CADPREVIC that remain in progress as of 31 December 2025 must continue to be processed via SEI until completion, and January to March 2026 will operate as a transition period with direct support and guidance from PREVIC.
