The National Bank of Georgia has published a second draft of Georgia’s Fintech Development Strategy following stakeholder consultations, updating the framework to reflect feedback from public and private institutions. The first draft was issued last year with a public call for comments, after which the National Bank of Georgia gathered recommendations and held individual meetings with stakeholders to discuss specific interests. The revised draft is accompanied by a supplementary document that links strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the priority actions identified for implementation, while a more detailed action plan is being developed to allocate responsible institutions for each activity and set target KPI values. The National Bank of Georgia is inviting further comments on the updated draft and plans to continue public-private collaboration as the strategy and action plan are finalised.
