The North Macedonia Insurance Supervision Authority said it held an educational visit at Naum Ohridski primary school in Peshtani, Ohrid, as the closing event of its financial literacy month campaign. Through an interactive presentation and discussion, students were introduced to basic insurance concepts, its role as a mechanism for protection against risk, and its benefits for citizens and society. The session also highlighted the authority’s role in maintaining a stable, secure and transparent insurance market and in protecting the rights and interests of policyholders. The wider campaign was intended to raise financial literacy, with a particular focus on strengthening insurance awareness among young people.
