The India International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) hosted the second edition of its IFSCA Talent Summit 2026 at GIFT City, convening government, industry and academic leaders around workforce development for the GIFT International Financial Services Centre (GIFT IFSC). Framed under the theme “Shaping Global Talent for India and the World”, the summit positioned GIFT IFSC as a destination for international financial services careers and highlighted foreign university branch campuses in GIFT IFSC as providers of industry-relevant education. The programme focused on industry–academia collaboration through internships, placements and joint research, and featured sessions on global career opportunities in GIFT IFSC, the Ahmedabad–Gandhinagar–GIFT City “Tri-City Knowledge Corridor”, and the role of foreign universities in delivering world-class education; it also included announcements by institutions linked to employment generation in GIFT IFSC and the launch of new courses and programmes. IFSCA Chairperson K. Rajaraman noted that IFSCA and GIFT City Company have acted on recommendations from the first summit in November 2024 and plan to take forward ideas emerging from the 2026 edition.
