The Central Bank of Jordan signed a memorandum of understanding with Al al-Bayt University to deepen cooperation on scientific research and to build students’ capabilities through joint training and initiatives to raise financial awareness and culture, including in response to evolving banking models and financial technology. The agreement provides for coordination of technical, practical and legal efforts, encourages pioneering and creative ideas, and creates a framework for joint research projects aimed at meeting labour market needs. The Central Bank framed the memorandum as part of its engagement with educational institutions to support financial literacy, while Al al-Bayt University highlighted an emphasis on practical and applied learning, understanding rapid digital developments, and awareness of security, financial protection and the prevention of financial fraud.
