The Central Bank of Comoros has launched a recruitment drive for senior and mid-level staff as part of efforts to strengthen its institutional capacity. The vacancies cover three profiles: economists, information technology specialists, and auditors or finance professionals. The roles are permanent and will be based at the central bank's headquarters in Moroni and or its agencies in Mohéli and Anjouan. For economist roles, the bank is seeking candidates with advanced qualifications in fields such as statistics, economics, econometrics, finance, banking or data science, together with skills in macroeconomic, statistical and financial analysis and econometric software. Information technology candidates are expected to have qualifications in information technology, information systems or cybersecurity, with experience in areas including development, database administration, IT security, systems and networks, and at least three years' experience with UNIX or LINUX systems. Auditor and finance candidates must have qualifications in audit, finance, accounting or internal control, with knowledge of audit standards, internal control frameworks, IT audit and information systems. Across all positions, applicants must be Comorian nationals, be between 22 and 40 years old at the time of recruitment, and demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, teamwork and strong IT and drafting skills.
