The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan welcomed a delegation from the Central Bank of Armenia for an intensive four-day experience-exchange programme focused on monetary policy, aimed at comparing analytical frameworks and current policy challenges. Opening sessions included presentations on Armenia’s monetary policy approach in an environment of uncertainty and rapid global change, followed by an open Q&A and a scenario-building workshop. Running through the week, the programme covers forecasting and projection systems including FPAS, nowcasting tools and DSGE approaches; scenario-based policy analysis; communication practices and decision-making frameworks; and foreign exchange policy and its role in macroeconomic stability, alongside joint analytical sessions and expert presentations. The central banks positioned the modules as a platform for longer-term collaboration, institutional learning and professional networks between the two institutions.
