Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) published an update on a Training of Trainers session under its OJK Penggerak Duta Literasi Keuangan Indonesia (OJK PEDULI) programme, delivered with the Indonesian Women Entrepreneurs Association (IWAPI) to strengthen financial literacy among women entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The initiative targets segments identified as priorities under Indonesia’s National Strategy for Financial Literacy 2021–2025. The hybrid training held in Jakarta was attended by more than 500 IWAPI members from across Indonesia, with additional participation from IWAPI-supported MSMEs, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and certified financial planners. OJK positioned the programme as a way to build a network of women MSME “financial literacy ambassadors” to promote responsible financial inclusion, while IWAPI indicated it would support outreach to help women entrepreneurs better manage their finances.
