The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group’s Sustainability Reporting Board (SRB) has approved a renewed composition of EFRAG’s Sustainability Reporting Technical Expert Group (SR TEG), effective from 1 May 2025, combining reappointments with new members to maintain balanced expertise across sectors and geographies to support European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) work. New appointments are Guillaume Bône (CSO, France), Roberta Ceccon (Preparer/Banking, Italy), Thierry Langreney (Chief Sustainability Officer/At Large, France), Jannik Leiendecker (Consultancy, Germany) and Julia Zicke (Preparer, Germany). Reappointed members are Luca Bonaccorsi, Piotr Biernacki, Carlota de Paula Coelho, Anne-Claire Ducrocq, Luc Hendrickx, Luis Piacenza, Olivier Scherer and Per Tornqvist. SR TEG Chair Chiara Del Prete pointed to continuity with members involved in ESRS implementation support and referenced an ongoing work plan that includes ESRS simplification, while thanking departing members Philippe Diaz, Giulia Genuardi, Klaus Hufschlag, Antonino Vaccaro and Fiona Watson; EFRAG also reiterated its aim to reduce reporting burden while keeping ESRS practical, effective and proportionate.
