The National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine adopted amendments to rules covering enforcement, registration of investment certificate issues by unit investment funds, and electronic documents used by professional participants in Ukraine’s depository system. The document changes concern circulation, storage and destruction. The enforcement amendments follow the commission’s consideration of draft enforcement changes on Oct. 7, although the update does not specify the provisions adopted. On market infrastructure, the commission considered registration of operating rules for the Ukrainian Exchange’s multilateral trading facility and regulated stock market, alongside amendments to rules for the corresponding Perspektiva Stock Exchange venues. It also approved briefing notes on draft legislation concerning investment funds and simplified value-added tax administration, rather than approving the bills themselves. Other decisions addressed professional participant licences, appointments to responsible positions, and registration of securities issues and prospectuses.
