The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has announced a schedule of 16 grievance redressal camps across India from Nov. 13 to Nov. 27, 2026, as part of its previously launched Grievance Resolution Month. Policyholders are encouraged to attend to seek resolution of pending complaints and learn about available redress mechanisms, including the Insurance Ombudsman framework. The Life Insurance Council and General Insurance Council will organize the camps and communicate venue details separately. The camps form part of the wider November initiative, under which insurers were advised to prioritize older disputes, pursue settlements where legally and factually sustainable, and comply promptly with Insurance Ombudsman awards.
