The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission outlined its organizational priorities for fiscal 2027 as it develops objectives and key results aligned with the fifth Insurance Development Plan for 2026-2030. The framework will shift the agency’s focus from activities and procedural compliance toward measurable outcomes for policyholders, the insurance industry and the wider economy. Key priorities include increasing insurance penetration, narrowing the protection gap, strengthening risk-based supervision and product governance, and advancing open insurance. The commission also plans to use digital technology and artificial intelligence in supervision, data analysis and public services, while enhancing regional offices’ role in identifying local issues and broadening insurance literacy from product education to personal risk management.
