The State Bank of Vietnam said Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung met Visa chief executive Ryan McInerney in Hanoi and urged the company to continue working closely with the central bank and Vietnamese credit institutions on new payment technologies, safer and more convenient payment products, and support for the banking sector’s digital transformation and cashless payments agenda.
