Turnover in shares of Consob-supervised listed companies on domestic platforms rose 17% to EUR 656 billion, while Italian government bond trading value on Italian platforms climbed 77% to EUR 8,007 billion; trading in other Italian issuer bonds increased 5% and in securitised derivative instruments 44%. Net short positions rose to 1.2% of total market capitalisation from 0.8% a year earlier, while remaining at 0.8% for financial sector issuers. On Euronext Milan, two new listings and 17 delistings produced a net balance of -15, while Euronext Growth Milan increased to 209 companies with a net +7, bringing the total number of listed or traded companies across Euronext Milan, Euronext Growth Milan and Vorvel to 434, including 419 Italian companies.
