The Central Bank of Argentina is organising its first “Supervision Days” on 13–14 November 2025 in Buenos Aires, positioning the closed-door event as a technical forum on how financial supervision is adapting to a transforming financial system. The programme includes a planned presentation of a new disciplinary regime promoted by the central bank. Panels will be led by the Superintendent of Financial and Foreign Exchange Entities Juan Curutchet and central bank directors Silvina Rivarola, Nicolás Ferro, Sebastián Sánchez Sarmiento and Pedro Inchauspe, with closing remarks scheduled from Central Bank of Argentina president Santiago Bausili. The agenda covers SUPTECH, digital fraud and Open Finance, alongside sessions on credit regeneration, the fintech sector under new regulatory requirements, international experiences in regulatory compliance, voluntary repair agreements, and the treatment of credit data as personal assets, with participation from domestic and international supervisors, banks, fintech firms, academics and public-sector enforcement officials. After the event, videos and presentations are expected to be made available on the Central Bank of Argentina’s website for public access.
