The Central Bank of Costa Rica has published a note describing its “Sustainability and Citizen Perspective” survey, aimed at Costa Rican adults with technical or higher education, to gather views on how the bank’s operations affect society, people and the environment as an input to strengthen institutional management. The Central Bank stated that responses will be handled with strict confidentiality under Article 14 of its Organic Law (Law No. 7558) and that results will be presented only in aggregated form for statistical purposes. It also reiterated that it does not request personal or sensitive information such as identification numbers, bank account details, usernames or passwords.
