Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) and PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) have launched an integrated platform connecting OJK’s Integrated Licensing and Registration System (SPRINT) with KSEI’s Electronic Securities Registration System (SPEK) to streamline the licensing and registration of mutual fund investment products. The integration is intended to replace previously separate workflows with a single, more coordinated process that reduces duplicate applications and document submissions, speeds up registration, and lowers the risk of errors. OJK and KSEI also expect improved accuracy and consistency of data and documents across both systems, supporting more effective risk-based supervision and more reliable information disclosures to the public and investors. KSEI positioned the initiative as part of its digital transformation efforts for mutual fund product registration, including support for green economy growth in Indonesia’s capital market.
