The Norwegian Ministry of Finance adopted a regulation allowing 0.2% of banks’ annual contributions to the resolution fund to finance assistance from the Norwegian Banks’ Guarantee Fund to the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway in performing its tasks and exercising its powers as the resolution authority.

The Norwegian Ministry of Finance will allow 0.2% of banks’ annual resolution fund contributions to finance the Norwegian Banks’ Guarantee Fund’s assistance to the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway in its role as resolution authority.
