The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has published a consultation on proposed updates to the regulatory fees payable for 2026/27, including a 2.9% increase to most existing fees in line with September 2025 Consumer Prices Index inflation. The proposals cover fees that would be payable from 1 April 2026 by firms regulated or overseen by the Authority. Alongside the general inflationary uplift, the consultation includes a limited number of sector-specific changes and further amendments intended to rebalance fees for designated non-financial businesses and professions (DNFBPs) to enhance proportionality for smaller firms. The package also seeks views on consolidating multiple Fees Orders and Regulations into a single Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (Fees) Order 2026, and on introducing a mechanism to increase all fees by CPI inflation in future years. Responses are due by 18 December 2025.
