FHFA highlighted that price growth is slowing nationally and across regions, with the 12-month growth rate in November 2.7 percentage points lower than it was as of November 2023 and the fourth consecutive month in which year-over-year growth was lower than a year earlier. Across the nine U.S. Census divisions, monthly changes ranged from -0.6% (East South Central) to 0.9% (West North Central and New England), while 12-month changes were positive in every region, ranging from 1.8% (West South Central) to 7.7% (New England). The next FHFA HPI report is scheduled for February 25, 2025, covering monthly data through December and quarterly data through the fourth quarter of 2024.
