The Montenegro Capital Market Authority held an “Intergenerational Dialogue on Finance” panel at its premises for students of the Mirko Vešović Secondary School of Economics, positioning the event as part of a new Commission project aimed at improving young people’s financial literacy through interactive discussions with capital market and finance professionals. The session was moderated by Vuk Radusinović from the Student Council of the University of Montenegro’s Faculty of Economics, with panellists including Gojko Maksimović, Director of the Financial Markets Sector at Hipotekarna Banka and former chief executive of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, and Admir Ademović, Director of investment firm TF Capital. Discussion focused on the role of capital markets in the economy and the importance of introducing basic knowledge of investing, financial instruments and market functioning during secondary education, with students raising questions on entering investing, recommended literature and the impact of fintech influencers. The Authority indicated it will continue similar activities, working with partners to support financial education for young people across Montenegro.
