The Central Bank of Poland has published monetary statistics showing that the M3 money supply rose by PLN 46.7bn in February 2026 to PLN 2,761.7bn. The increase was mainly attributed to growth in deposits and other claims included in M3 held by households, up PLN 22.5bn (1.6%) to PLN 1,461.8bn, and by local government institutions, up PLN 19.3bn (18.5%) to PLN 124.1bn. Over the same period, net debt of central government entities increased by PLN 18.1bn (3.0%) to PLN 617.8bn, while debt also rose for other financial institutions by PLN 6.8bn (3.3%) to PLN 212.8bn, non-financial corporations by PLN 4.9bn (1.1%) to PLN 473.7bn, and households by PLN 2.9bn (0.3%) to PLN 836.6bn.
