The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) announced it will host the 9th annual Growth and Resilience Dialogue on 10 and 11 April 2025 at its campus in Basseterre, St. Kitts, bringing together public and private sector participants and the wider public to discuss regional growth and development priorities. The two-day programme is themed “In the Pursuit of Extraordinary Excellence” and will cover sustainable tourism, investments in sports, data innovation and resilience, and pathways for adopting electric vehicles in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS). Day one will focus on sustainability in tourism, including indigenous and regenerative approaches, alongside interactive sessions on data mining, data resilience and digital infrastructure; day two will address sports investment and electric vehicle adoption, including an electric vehicle ecosystem panel, a masterclass on sales and servicing opportunities, and a solar-powered electric vehicle showcase. Speakers include ECCB Governor Timothy N.J. Antoine, OECS Director General Dr. Didacus Jules, World Bank lead economist Nataliya Mylenko, and Caribbean Tourism Organisation Secretary General and CEO Donna Regis-Prosper. The ECCB invited the public to register for free virtual access to the conference sessions, with online registrants completing registration by 25 March 2025 entered into a draw for an early bird prize valued at EC$500. The event is hosted in partnership with the OECS Commission, the World Bank and The University of the West Indies.
