Chile’s Ministry of Finance, together with BancoEstado, announced the removal of the CLP 300 charge for electronic fund transfers from BancoEstado’s CuentaRUT accounts to other banks, effective from 15 April. The change extends BancoEstado’s existing fee-free framework beyond its own network. The announcement also highlighted other operations already provided at no cost, including transfers between BancoEstado customers, cash withdrawals via CajaVecina, withdrawals at BancoEstado ATMs, and transactions at branches and BancoEstado Express.
