Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) marked International Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2025 with a hybrid talkshow in Yogyakarta, using the event to set out a three-part agenda to strengthen integrity across the financial services sector and within OJK. The agenda centres on enhancing risk- and data-based supervision through suptech and regtech, an upgraded early warning system, and cross-sector data integration to detect potential fraud and governance breaches more quickly. It also emphasises stronger governance and market conduct supervision, including firm action against integrity violations and alignment with OJK’s anti-fraud strategy, referenced as including OJK Regulation (POJK) 12/2024. Internally, OJK linked its “One OJK” transformation to integrity initiatives such as integrity zones, improved public service quality, a strengthened whistleblowing system, and reinforced ethical standards and competency development, while its Audit Board Chair highlighted ISO 37001:2016 anti-bribery management system certification. As part of the Hakordia programme, OJK announced Integrity Fest 2025 award winners and disclosed that 39 staff received “Ahli Pembangun Integritas” certification and 51 received “Penyuluh Anti-korupsi” certification, delivered in partnership with Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
