The National Bank of Georgia announced the launch of its “Invite FinEdu to the Classroom” open lesson project as part of Georgia’s Global Money Week campaign, with First Vice-Governor Ekaterine Mikabadze delivering a financial education lesson at Tserovani Public School No. 3 and donating educational materials to the school library. The 2026 campaign is held under the theme “Talk About Money” and focuses on encouraging open discussions about financial matters among young people. The FinEdu-led project is in its tenth iteration and will involve staff from the National Bank of Georgia and participating commercial banks delivering lessons for students in grades V–XII across Tbilisi and other regions. School visits and lessons under the initiative are scheduled to run until May 15, supported by employees from Bank of Georgia, TBC Bank, TeraBank, Credo Bank, MBC Microbank and others. While Global Money Week was officially observed from March 16 to 22, the campaign in Georgia spans two months.
