Cumulative cash receipts totalled MDL 166,976.1 million, up MDL 8,574.8 million (5.4%) compared with the same period of the previous year. The largest source was receipts from consumer goods sales at MDL 97,352.0 million (58.3% of total; up MDL 4,018.5 million, or 4.3%), while receipts credited to individuals’ current and deposit accounts reached MDL 16,720.3 million (up MDL 2,331.0 million, or 16.2%) and “other receipts” amounted to MDL 23,374.3 million (up MDL 1,932.9 million, or 9.0%). Cumulative cash withdrawals were MDL 171,583.1 million, up MDL 8,405.9 million (5.2%) year on year; the aggregates include transactions in commemorative coins and follow the reporting framework for banks’ cash operations.
