The Central Bank of Peru has launched its 2026 Summer Courses in Advanced Economics and Advanced Finance, aimed at disseminating economic and financial knowledge and building technical capacity through a structured academic programme. The Central Bank’s general manager, Paul Castillo, welcomed 69 university students in economics, finance and related fields from universities across the country. The courses will feature national and international lecturers. The Advanced Economics course, delivered since 1961, provides an in-depth view of managing the country’s monetary and economic policy, while the Advanced Finance course, created 18 years ago, focuses on raising academic standards in financial topics.
