The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) has published the fourth edition of its Integra Integrity Plan for 2025-2026, setting out internal measures and management practices intended to strengthen an ethical and transparent working environment. Key priorities for the biennium include the CVM’s Plan for the Prevention and Addressing of Harassment and Discrimination (PPEAD) and follow-up actions arising from the integrity survey conducted in 2024. The PPEAD includes the creation of a dedicated reception channel for victims of harassment and discrimination. The 2024 internal survey recorded a 28% increase in staff participation versus 2022, with the most cited topics including threats to impartiality and technical-organisational autonomy, conflicts of interest, and workplace harassment; the questionnaire also newly included race and colour. The Integra plan also maps the responsibilities of integrity functions within the CVM, describes the relevant workflows for different situations, links to applicable internal rules, and lists actions to be implemented during the plan’s validity.
