The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic published a draft Board resolution for public consultation that would amend certain National Bank нормативные legal acts to bring them into line with recent Kyrgyz legislation on consumer credit and banking legal relations. The draft is intended to align the National Bank’s regulatory framework with the Kyrgyz Republic laws “On Consumer Credit” (28 October 2025, No. 237) and “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic on Banking Legal Relations” (28 October 2025, No. 238). The consultation materials are available on the National Bank’s website under “Regulatory acts of the National Bank” and “Drafts for discussion”, and on the unified public consultation portal (koomtalkuu.gov.kg/ru). Comments and proposals are due by 9 April 2026.
